Lothar Katz is the founder and principal advisor of Leadership Crossroads.  He has a wealth of experience in achieving productive cooperation across cultures and driving business success on a global scale.  He has worked with organizations in many countries, helping them grow their global competence and international business.  He also coached many individuals on how to become culture-savvy leaders.

During his corporate career as a Vice President and General Manager with Texas Instruments, Lothar has led large international organizations and managed global business units.  He regularly interacted with employees, customers, outsourcing partners, and third parties in more than 25 countries, including China, India, Japan, and many other Asian countries. Originally from Germany, Lothar has lived in the United States and in Europe.  He is a member of the faculty of the University of Texas at Dallas, where he teaches in the School of Management’s Executive MBA and Professional Development programs, a Business Leadership Center instructor at the Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business, and a guest lecturer at the University of Washington.

Lothar Katz is a frequent speaker at conferences, organizational meetings, and other events, and the author of  Negotiating International Business: The Negotiator's Reference Guide to 50 Countries Around the World  (BookSurge, 2nd edition 2007). He is a current board member of the  Institute of Management Consultants  (DFW Chapter) and of the  DFW Asian American Citizens Council.

Jeremy Solomons provides customized coaching, facilitation and training in Career Development, Conflict Resolution, Global Diversity, Global Leadership, Intercultural Communication, Multicultural Teambuilding and Presentation Skills to current and future leaders around the world.  Having relocated 13 times internationally, he also has practical experience in the design and delivery of Business and Cultural Orientation sessions for managers and families moving between Asia, the USA and Europe.  He now lives in Austin, Texas.

He has worked with many international organizations across North America, Europe and Asia, managing a diverse staff and working with clients and colleagues from all over the globe, while employed as a full-time Banker, Educator and Journalist at Citibank, JP Morgan, Lloyds Bank International, Reuters News Agency, United Press International and the World Bank.  He has lived, studied and worked for extended periods in eight countries.  Born in Manchester, England, Jeremy holds MA and BA Honors degrees in French from the University of Oxford and speaks several languages.  In recent years, he has been a featured speaker/ presenter on crosscultural communication, global leadership and international careers.

Jeremy is adjunct faculty at the Intercultural Management Institute at American University in Washington, DC, and Centre for Intercultural Communication at the University of BC in Vancouver.



Patrick Custer is the premier Executive Coach that specializes in working with senior executives involved in China and other parts of Asia.  Other senior executives seek him to coach on CEO challenges due to his extensive experience in the business world.  He is also the Chairman of Venture Pacific Group, a specialty advisory company focused on cross pacific investments between the US and China.  Patrick was first introduced to China and its growing influence to the world as an international exchange and foreign monetary policy expert.  He has made extensive travels to China and all of Asia over the past 25 years.

He is also the Chief Technical Advisor and a board member for the Pacific Rim Biotech Forum, which has been the premier venue for world business leaders as well as governmental leaders to meet and exchange experiences.  Patrick was the Chairman and CEO of several companies, such as Curtis Mathes Corporation, The Donny Osmond Entertainment Corporation, and uniView Technologies.  He has held additional Board of Director positions at Texas American Bank, Hamilton-Vanguard, Jefferson Bank and Trust and others.

Patrick contributes time as a guest speaker for SMU’s EMBA and Global MBA program, University of Texas at Dallas School of Business, Peking
University and other educational venues.  Patrick is a requested speaker for many other functions and events throughout the world.



Oliver Sintobinis an export master distribution and management expert who helps businesses grow their sales by promoting their products or services in export markets.  In addition, he buys products from US vendors and exclusively exports them through his distribution channels under branded or private label programs outside the United States of America.  His work is helping manufacturers with quick penetration and bridging the gap of payment terms.  Closely working with distributors to support these programs, Oliver regularly communicates with and frequently visits overseas markets to keep distributors up to date with the latest information and help with their own sales and marketing efforts.

A native of Belgium, Oliver grew up in a bilingual household and is now fluent in Flemish/Dutch, French, German, Spanish and English.  After college, he moved to the US in 1977 and earned an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas in 1980.

Oliver's experience reaches across a broad range of industries and products, including Life Sciences, Windfarms, Engineering Services, Consumer Goods, and Organic Fertilizers.  He has helped numerous companies and business owners increase their international sales and business impact.



Dr. Pamela Johnson is an expert in multicultural leadership development with more than 20 years of experience as a practitioner, educator, trainer and consultant.  As a private practitioner, she has successfully facilitated multicultural individual and group counseling and coaching.  As an educator, she is a university Associate Professor teaching masters-level courses in multicultural counseling, human behavior, and management development.  As a trainer and consultant, Pamela has worked with private and public organizational executives, leadership candidates, and staff on cultural and gender diversity, multicultural leadership development, and discrimination/harassment issues.

Pamela is an author whose most recent article, "Diversititis … Is there a cure?", has been published in numerous magazines including Minority Business News USA, Diversity, Women’s Enterprise, Diversity Texas, and Minority Business News Texas.  She has also developed the Cultural Continuum TheoryTM and Corporate KaleidoscopeTM, parts of a Multicultural Leadership Development Process.  She is an international speaker and trainer.  Pamela believes that while the organization has a responsibility to develop and implement diversity initiatives, that responsibility also lies within each and every member of the organization at every level.  She says, “Each individual must ‘get honest’ with themselves and take responsibility for their own stereotypes, bias and behaviors.”.



Adrienne Braumiller  and  Michelle Schulz  manage the international trade law firm of Braumiller Schulz & Co., LLP, with offices in Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, and San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

Adrienne Braumiller is widely recognized as a leading authority in NAFTA, Customs, import, export, and ITAR compliance.  She has assisted several companies to devise and implement Customs, NAFTA, ITAR, import and export compliance programs and related training.  A board member of several trade groups, Adrienne is in the unique position of learning about cutting-edge changes affecting the trade community.  For example, she is the Past President of the Organization of Women in International Trade, with chapters spanning the globe.  She founded, and was the Vice-Chairperson of, AAEI’s Southwest Chapter, and has held numerous leadership positions of various international and customs law committees within local, state, and national bar associations.  Adrienne received her LLM in International Business Transactions from McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento, California and earned her JD at St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas.  She also studied international law in Austria and in England.  She is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States District Court of Texas for the Northern District, and the United States Court of International Trade.

Fluent in French and German, Michelle Schulz has extensive experience with all aspects of both international trade and immigration law.  She has worked for the Immigration and Refugee Services of America in Washington, D.C., and the International Institute of San Francisco.  Michelle graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Tulane University, where she was a member of the Mortar Board National Honors Society.  She studied French literature at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, and German at the Lessing-Kolleg in Marburg, Germany.  She participated in the Fulbright educational exchange program in Vienna, Austria.  Michelle also volunteered her time in a major reconstruction project for Bosnia at the American Embassy of Vienna.  She earned her MA in German from Vanderbilt University.  Michelle then received her JD from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where she served on the boards of the Texas International Law Journal and the International Law Society.  She studied International Law at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands.
